About me…
Capturing Moments, Creating Art.
Hi, I'm Nik. I'm a photographer who loves exploring different styles and winning awards along the way. I'm also part of the NPS family.
My work is found all over the world, including in some government buildings here in Canada. I've been lucky enough to work with a variety of clients, from wildlife conservancies and museums to theaters and political figures.
My passion for photography is all over my work. People say I have a unique style and vision that really shows who I am and how I feel. To me, photography isn't just about capturing reality; it's about revealing hidden aspects.
With over 12,000 hours behind the lens and more than 2 million photos taken, my journey started with inspiration from my father's photography and influence from talented friends.
I've always been captivated by the colors and sounds around me. When I picked up a camera, I realized it offered a different dimension, allowing me to showcase things in ways the naked eye can't always see. I don't think of myself as a 'professional,' but rather 'fortunate' to still be thriving and eager for new discoveries. Nearly 15 years later, I still see the world through my camera and eagerly await the next moment to capture and freeze in time.
When I'm not behind the lens, I love connecting with fellow creatives and sharing the stories that inspire me. Whether it's trekking through a forest for that elusive wildlife shot or capturing the vibrant energy of a city's streets, each experience fuels my passion even more. I'm excited about the endless possibilities that photography continues to offer, and I can't wait to see where this incredible journey takes me next.
